Match
Number One - WWE Tag Team
Championship, WWE Tag Team Champions - Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio
Vs. Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki.
This was the first match at Armageddon.
Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam won the match to retain the WWE
Tag Team Championship.
Match
Number Two - Kurt Angle
Invitational where he selects a hometown wrestler to wrestle
against. If they can
defeat Angle, he will give them his Olympic Gold Medal. Kurt Vs. Santa Claus. Angle
won this match.
Match
Number Three - 1-million Tough
Enough - Dixie Dogfight. This was a boxing match with three rounds, one minute in
length. The two final
Tough Enough contestants faced off in this boxing match - Daniel
Puder Vs. Mike Mizanin. The
result saw both contestants go the three rounds without a Winner. The fans got to decide who would win the Dixie Dogfight.
When it came down to it, Daniel Puder ended up getting the
victory.
Match
Number Four - The Basham's Vs.
Hard Core Holly and Charlie Haas.
In this match it saw Dawn Marie come down to the ring while
the match was going on. Afterwards,
Miss Jackie came down to the ring; both her and Dawn Marie went at
it. This led to Haas
leaving the ring to try to break up both of the two Divas. This resulted in the Basham's picking up the pin-fall
victory.
Match
Number Five - United States
Championship Street Fight Match- John Cena, the United States
Champion, Vs. Jesus. Cena
basically had full control of this match and he ended when he hit
his finisher - the FU, to pick up the pin-fall victory to
retain his championship.
Match
Number Six - Dawn Marie Vs. Miss
Jackie, with Charlie Haas as the Special Guest Referee for this
match. This match did
not last long; it saw Dawn Marie picking up the pin-fall victory.
Match
Number Seven - three-on-one
Handicap Match - Kurt Angle, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak Vs. The
Big Show. The Big Show
hit the F5 to pick up the pin-fall victory.
Match
Number Eight - WWE CruiserWeight
Championship - Spike Dudley, WWE CruiserWeight Champion Vs. Funaki.
This match was ok. Surprisingly
it saw Funaki pick up the pin-fall victory to win the WWE
Cruiserweight Championship. This
was Funaki's first ever championship in the WWE.
Match
Number Nine - Fatal Four-Way WWE
Championship match. WWE Champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield Vs. Eddie
Guerrero, Vs. Booker T and The Undertaker.
In this match all four Superstars were in the ring at the
same time and the first person to score a pin-fall or a submission
would win the match and to become the WWE Champion.
The Champion did not even have to be pinned or submit to lose
the championship. There
were no rules in this match only that the match had to end either by
pin-fall or submission. At
the end of the match Heidenreich interfered in the match and had
attacked The Undertaker. So
this interference led to JBL hitting the "close line from
hell", his finisher on Booker T to pick up the pin-fall
victory to retain his championship.
